The Saturday night car show continues to be a large
event. With perfect weather this evening, Herb and Scott decided to
take their vehicles to the show and let everyone there know what our club
is all about.
Herb drove his 1944 GPW and Scott drove his 1953 M38A1 to the local
Albertsons grocery store. They arrived about 5:30pm and set-up at
the end of one of the many rows that would soon be filled with every kind
of vehicle imaginable. Within a short period of time, the rows began
filling up with Corvettes, Mustangs, street rods and motorcycles. A
few jeep owners also came by to gawk at the military jeeps.
After many inquires about the vehicles and the club, Herb and Scott
decided to depart about dusk in order to get home before dark. Since
the old military vehicles are very hard to see at night, this is always a
prudent decision. Both arrived home safe and sound.
This is a highly recommended event for anyone interested in a Saturday
Night Car Show that is FREE to enter and attend. The event starts
about 5:30 or so and goes past dark-thirty. |
