Event: New Belgium Brewing Fat Tire
Classic - Bicycles

Description: Being somewhat disgusted with the jeep at this point
due to the flooding gremlin, after I got home from the Manor Parade today I
loaded the Colson balloon tire bike in the truck and headed to Waterloo Park for
the New Belgium Brewing Company Fat Tire Classic. This event is a 7 city
tour to promote their beers and ales while at the same time promoting the slower
life of the classic balloon tire cruiser bicycles. Having just restored a
balloon tire bike, this was an opportunity to show it off again. I wore my
WWII HBT coveralls, mechanics cap and map case. Boy was I the hit of the
event. The promotions manager gave me an event t-shirt and snapped my
picture for their web site. The event also promoted the Yellow Bicycle
Project. Some weird folks there but good beer...
