Event: Bastrop Homecoming Parade

Location: Bastrop Texas
Description: The Bastrop Homecoming parade was another of the
'summer' parades from a small town East of Austin about 20 miles. The club
decided to participate in this event however many of those commitments fell
through at the last minute. I however did manage to finish the Colson bike
project in time for the event. The jeep is still sick at this point with a
flooding/float problem we can't seem to resolve.

start of the parade. I had just finished the Colson bike project and
since the jeep was still 'sick' this seemed like the perfect opportunity
to give it a 'shake-down' run. It performed perfectly... |

I had received my "Second Place" ribbon for "Most
Original". (See next picture...) |

Here's the Wells Fargo Bank
stagecoach prior to the parade. This entry takes a LOT of
support. It won 1st place at this parade for "Most
Original". I'll take second place (first place of the losers)
to this amount of work for a parade anytime..... |
