Event:    Kars for Kids Car Show
Location: Sonic Drive-In, Austin  Texas
Description: The Kars for Kids Car Show is put on by the local Sonic Drive-In to raise money for local youth at risk charitable organizations.  This year, the event raised just under $22,000 from a live and silent auction.  The show is not specific to military vehicles.  The local Corvette and Mustang clubs were in full force as were the classic Chevrolets and Fords.  A few race cars of different types were present and several Cobra 427's, Shelbys, 'chopped hot rods, streets and customs.  It was a fantastic day for a fantastic event.
