Every year, the club tries to make the annual McDade parade.  Danny, Herb and I trailered our vehicles (M151A2/M416, GPW, M38A1) and Claude and Jeanne drove the WWII Ambulance.  We found a nice shade tree and set up shop waiting on the judges to make their rounds.  As usual, I had to 'schmooze' them by striking up conversation about being privately owned, the national club, local chapter etc.  It paid off as we won a few ribbons for best vehicle group.

Once the judging was over, Herb broke out some of his radio gear and we played with it for a bit.  Then, the gals from Hearts And Hooves came over with their little horses.  We all were treated to their program and what they do.  Check 'em out at:  http://heartsandhooves.org

The parade started promptly and we were off to a great wait!  However, the parade finally started moving on our end and we made it through the little town.  The crowd was great with everyone waving and we had a pretty good turn-out with four vehicles.
