Burnet is always a hit or miss on weather. But
I like it that way. You never know what you're going to get.
Bringing out the jeep and bbq pit for the first of two cooks in
succession, we found our normal designated spot under the huge oak
tree. Once the jeep was set in place, I set about firing up
the little trailer pit for the group and cooking a round of
burgers with all sorts of condiments.
All the planes stayed in the air, the sun was out, bellies full
and the world continued to turn just fine. Life is good. |
